Jeopardy shift:
• Weekday: 5PM to 6AM
• Weekend/Holiday: 6AM to 6AM
Disaster shift:
• Weekday: 6AM to 5PM
You can be “Disastered” to cover the following:
• Team Seniors
• PICU residents
• NICU residents
• ER (for short staffing only)
• Intern inpatient shifts are not covered.
For a Jeopardy/Disaster shift, you will be contacted by cellphone AND pager. Please have on!
• If you are on Jeopardy, you MUST be within commutable distance and able to be reached by cell phone
• Calls must be returned within 10 minutes
• Expected to be in the hospital within 1 hour
• You may be called to somewhere you have never been
